School Meals and Refreshments

There are three options for lunchtime arrangements

Packed lunch provided by home and eaten in the dining areas
A hot meal bought from the school is £2.40. We operate a ‘cashless’ system. Each child has their own account. Money is deposited either termly or weekly by the parent by cheque (payable to Caterhouse Ltd) or cash. When a child has a school dinner, the money is deducted from their account.
Lunch at home with a relative/guardian

Pupils who go home for lunch must be picked up by a relative or guardian who must report to the school office on arrival. Pupils must be signed out upon leaving. They must return at 1.10 p.m. to the school office and be signed back in.

Children of parents who are on income support, income-based job seeker’s allowance and child tax credit with an income under £14,155 are entitled to free school meals. All you need do is come to the school office with your Income Support Book and we will make all the necessary arrangements.

As we are committed to a healthy lifestyle we encourage parents/ carers who send in a packed lunch to provide a healthy lunch. Please note, fizzy drinks and sweets are not allowed in school. We also ask that you do not send any peanut based products (eg; peanut butter) as we have a number of children who have severe allergies.
